The Armadillo World Headquarters sparked the emergence of the Austin music scene between the years 1970 to 1980. An iconic venue where the “All Ways Welcome” mentality was born. Where creativity and community thrived and the best of Austin culture was lived.
Embracing Austin’s reputation as the “Live Music Capital of the World”, we at Austin FC developed a season long thematic celebrating one of our community’s primary cultural exports – music.
The Armadillo Kit was created as a medium to celebrate the spirit of this legendary venue.
